Who we are
Simsar (“Simsar,” “we,” “I”) is the advisory practice of Wojciech Krupa, operating the website simsar.info. For anything related to this policy or your data, reach us through the contact form.
What we collect
Information you submit. If you use the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, work email, company, role (optional), a description of what you're working on, and the stage and timeline you select. Submitting the form is voluntary.
Attribution data. When you submit the form, we also record how you reached the site: campaign parameters from the address bar (UTM tags), the page you came from, and a randomly generated inquiry ID. We use this only to understand which channels bring serious inquiries.
Technical data. Like nearly every website, our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you to us by name. See Google's privacy policy for how Google processes this data.
What we don't collect
We do not run advertising trackers of our own, we do not buy or append data about you, and the website sets no cookies for ordinary visitors. (A single session cookie exists only for the site operator's private administration area.)
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether an engagement is a fit.
- To keep a record of our correspondence if a conversation continues.
- To measure which marketing channels produce genuine inquiries.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists — you will not receive a newsletter because you asked a question.
Legal bases
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we process contact-form data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, and technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Storage and retention
Contact submissions are stored in a private database on our own server, accessible only to the site operator. We keep inquiries for as long as they remain relevant to a potential or actual engagement, and we delete them on request (see “Your rights”).
Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that run our infrastructure (website hosting, email delivery), strictly to provide those services;
- Analytics providers as described above, where enabled;
- Authorities, if we are legally required to do so.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional statutory rights, including the right to object to processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, send your request through the contact form — we respond to all such requests.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, submissions are stored on access-controlled infrastructure, and administrative access is password-protected. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is little to lose.
Third-party sites
The site links to external properties — LinkedIn, Medium, and the websites of ventures such as Knowde, TaxCreditOS, and Respondit.ai. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only simsar.info.
Children
This site addresses business decision-makers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its “last updated” date. Material changes will be noted here explicitly.
